Day 1: Imperial Beijing
Explore the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park, subject to attraction reservations. Use the late afternoon for a walk around Shichahai and its neighbouring hutong lanes.
Keep the evening flexible for dinner and rest before the day outside the city.
Day 2: Mutianyu Great Wall
Allow a separate day for the journey to Mutianyu and time on the wall. Choose your walking distance around your group’s interests, fitness and the weather.
