Morning: Forbidden City

Begin with the palace courtyards and halls of the Forbidden City. Allow time to explore at a comfortable pace, subject to your booked entry time and ticket availability.

Afternoon: Jingshan and Shichahai

Continue to Jingshan Park, then make your way towards Shichahai for a walk around the lakes and nearby hutong lanes.

Leave room for a lunch stop and pauses for photography; this suggested route is not a timed group schedule.

Evening option

Finish with dinner at a restaurant of your choice. Beijing roast duck is one option; reservations, dietary needs and meal costs should be agreed separately.
